COLUMBIA, Ky., Nov. 1 -- Auburn University at Montgomery issued the following news release:
It was a battle of two of the top teams in the country, but Michael Azire's goal with only 49 seconds left in the match gave Lindsey Wilson College a hard-fought 1-0 win over the Auburn University at Montgomery Senators.
Neither team could manage much of a threat against the other's defense before Azira's unassisted goal. Only 14 shots were taken in the entire match.
