SILVER CITY, N.M., Aug. 18 -- Western New Mexico University issued the following news release:
Several years in the making, Western New Mexico University will soon be serving Lordsburg residents with the Hidalgo Learning Center.
Officials from WNMU, City of Lordsburg, and Hidalgo County officials had their shovels ready for the first dig when they met on Tuesday at the new site. The WNMU branch building will be located one block away from Lordsburg High School.
