MACOMB, Ill., Sept. 20 -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:
Herb Donaldson rushed for 229 yards and three touchdowns while No. 20 Western Illinois racked up 539 yards of total offense to get past Stephen F. Austin, 34-14.
Donaldson put the Leathernecks (2-2) on the scoreboard early with a 28-yard touchdown run that capped the first drive of the game, and compiled 83 yards on nine carries in the first quater alone.
