STORRS, Conn., Oct. 9 -- The University of Connecticut issued the following news release:

The U.S. Department of Education has awarded a $500,000 Emergency Management for Higher Education grant to the University of Connecticut's Center for Continuing Studies (CCS) to fund a state-of-the-art behavior threat assessment model.
