AUBURN, Wash., Oct. 30 -- The city of Auburn issued the following news release:
Honoring the lasting memory of those who served in war and gave their lives for peace, the annual Veterans Day Remembrance and Lighting of the Flame Ceremony will be held at Veterans Memorial Park and Auburn's Veterans Memorial, located at 411 E Street NE, on Saturday Nov. 8 from 10 - 10:30 a.m. The ceremony takes place prior to Auburn's 43rd annual Veterans Day parade beginning at 11 a.m.
