Grants Support Hemophilia Treatment Centers

WASHINGTON, July 7 -- The Health Forum issued the following news release:

The Health Resources and Services Administration has awarded $4.9 million in grants to support diagnostic and treatment services for an estimated 30,000 patients with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. The 12 regional grants support a network of roughly 130 treatment centers, which offer multidisciplinary teams of specialists, clinical research programs and outreach and education.
