WEST POINT, N.Y., Dec. 5 -- United States Military at West Point issued the following news release:
A U.S. Military Academy cadet has been awarded the prestigious Marshall Scholarship.
Cadet Melvin J. Sanborn of Wilmot, N.H., will have the opportunity to further his education for two years at a university of his choice in the United Kingdom.
Sanborn plans to earn a Masters of International Studies and Diplomacy and a Masters of Arts in Chinese Studies . . .
