LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 27 -- University of Louisville issued the following news release:
"Don't balance the budget on our back."
That was one of many similar messages seen on posters and heard chanted in the corridors of the state capitol last week as hundreds of students from eight Kentucky universities gathered for the annual Rally for Higher Education.
