MACOMB, Ill., Aug. 18 -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:
Joe Rives, executive assistant to the president for Quad Cities, Planning and Technology at Western Illinois University, has been appointed vice president of Quad Cities, Planning and Technology at WIU, effective Aug. 15, according to WIU President Al Goldfarb.
Rives will serve in the interim role through June 30, 2010. A national search will begin during the Fall 2009 semester, . . .
