MUNCIE, Ind., April 3 -- Ball State University issued the following news release:
Veteran Ball State faculty member Mitch Whaley has been named dean of the College of Applied Sciences and Technology (CAST).
Whaley's appointment as dean takes effect May 12. Currently, he is the chairman of the School of Physical Education, Sport, and Exercise Science, a position he has held since 2002.
