LEADER OF HISTORIC PROTEST TO SPEAK AT LONGWOOD

FARMVILLE, Va., Dec. 17 -- Longwood University issued the following news release:

Paula CrisostomoPaula Crisostomo, who in 1968 was one of the leaders of a historic walkout by Mexican-American high school students in Los Angeles, will be the speaker for Longwood University's annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Crisostomo will speak Thursday, Jan. 24, at 3:30 p.m. in Jarman Auditorium on "Walk Out: The Story of the Struggle f . . .
