FARMVILLE, Va., Dec. 13 -- Longwood University issued the following news release:
Youngters in the local Head Start program have some brand new wheels, thanks to a Longwood University student project.
Students majoring in physical & health education teacher education (PHETE) recently raised funds for five sturdy tricycles. The group also presented Head Start with 10 bicycle helmets donated by a Longwood employee.
