FARMVILLE, Va., Nov. 15 -- Longwood University issued the following news release:
The Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission has awarded Longwood University $392,293 to develop a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
The funding will enable Longwood to hire a program director, an associate director and a simulation lab director for the program, which will be aimed primarily at rural communities and will begin in Fall 2009. . . .
