OKLAHOMA CITY, Oct. 30 -- The Oklahoma Department of Education issued the following news release:
Academic Performance Index (API) scores for 2008 for every public school and district in Oklahoma were presented to the State Board of Education at its regular monthly meeting today in Oklahoma City.
The Board also learned the state's average API score for 2008 is 1279 - up 27 points from the state's average API score in 2007.
API scores range from 0 to 1 . . .
