FARMVILLE, Va., Aug. 27 -- Longwood University issued the following news release:
Longwood University welcomed a record number of new students when classes began on Monday, August 25. To date, new student enrollment includes 1,065 freshmen and 165 transfer students for a total of 1,230 new students.
