RADFORD, Va., Sept. 8 -- Radford University issued the following news release:
Radford University received a $130,000 grant from the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia to offer elementary and middle school teachers graduate courses in mathematics and science education. Close to 50 teachers from Pittsylvania County and Danville City will participate in the project titled Pittsylvania/Danville - Radford Initiative for Science and Mathematics.
