RADFORD, Va., Oct. 30 -- Radford University issued the following news release:
In September 1944, thousands of paratroopers dropped from the sky and onto the ground behind enemy lines in an attempt to secure crucial bridges across rivers in Holland to allow the Allied army to quickly advance into the lowlands of Germany and around enemy lines. If correctly executed, the offensive, named Operation Market Garden, could have ended World War II by Christmas. However, following 10 days . . .
