WASHINGTON, Oct. 28 -- The District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities issued the following news release:
We invite you to submit nominations for the 24th Annual Mayor's Arts Award, the most prestigious honors conferred by the city on individual artists, organizations, and patrons of the arts. Join Mayor Adrian M. Fenty as he presents these awards at a ceremony to be held at the Kennedy Center on Friday, March 27, 2009.
