SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 24 -- The California Department of Education issued the following news release:
State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell today congratulated Hadi Makarechian on his appointment to the UC Board of Regents and Scott Himelstein on his appointment to the California Community College System Board of Governors. Both were appointed by Governor Schwarzenegger.
