ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 28 -- Minnesota State Rep. Kent Eken, DFL-District 2A, issued the following news release:
The 86th Legislative Session convenes on February 12, 2008. In 2007 we passed a two year budget so most of the major budget issues have been settled until 2009. We may, however, need to make adjustments this year because the state is projected to take in less money than was projected last year as a result of a recent downturn in the economy.
