WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory issued the following press release:

Philip Rasch, an authority on the connections among clouds, chemistry and climate, has joined the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
