WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory issued the following press release:
Argonne National Laboratory was awarded a $2.6 million-a-year contract by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to expand DOE's ability to take the most reliable measurements in and above the Earth's oceans. Such information is critical for advancing scientific knowledge of Earth systems and building climate models that are more accurate, comprehensive and robust.
