WASHINGTON, Oct. 24 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following press release:
After completing a major water reclamation project, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (MCAS), Calif., is saving 97 million gallons of water, translating to a cost savings of $860,000 per year. This earned the honor of a Presidential Leadership Award for federal energy and water management awarded Oct. 23 at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building in Washington.
