AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 23 -- The city of Austin issued the following press release:

At its meeting on Oct. 23, 2008, the Austin City Council took the following action as part of its consent agenda:

* Authorized grant funds from Humanities Texas for the traveling exhibit titled "Images of Valor: U.S. Latinos and Latinas in World War II" to honor veterans. The exhibit will be on display at Terrazas Branch Library beginning Nov. 1 through January 2009.
