WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- The office of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., issued the following statement:
"Yesterday I called upon major air carriers to stop subjecting our brave servicemembers to exorbitant baggage fees and the financial outlay and onerous reimbursement paperwork that accompanies the imposition of these fees. I welcome the announcements by several airlines that they are ending this burdensome practice. I urge all airlines to take similar steps to ensure that . . .
