BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan, Aug. 28 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Combat Joint Task Force 82, Operation Enduring Freedom, issued the following news release:
A Coalition service member was killed while conducting a patrol in southern Afghanistan, Wednesday.
The name and nationality of the service member is being withheld until next of kin notification is complete.
