ALFRED, N.Y., Aug. 28 -- Alfred University's athletics department issued the following news release:
If the men's soccer team is to improve on its 4-12-1 record from last year (0-7-0 Empire 8) and compete for a conference title, it will have to do so with a very young and inexperienced squad.
Fourteen freshman and five sophomores help make up the roster. By contrast there are only three seniors and two juniors.
