DES MOINES, Iowa, Aug. 7 -- The Iowa Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
The DNR invites the public to discuss proposed changes to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Regional Permit 7, which authorizes material placed in Iowa waters for bridge or road crossings.
The revisions will make it easier to understand the permits. Also, the revised permits will contain more standard conditions to protect the aquatic environment.
