FORT RILEY, Kan., Aug. 6 -- The U.S. Army 1st Infantry Division issued the following news release:
Approximately 60 Soldiers of the 2nd Heavy Truck Platoon, 2nd Transportation Company returned from Kuwait Aug. 6 and were reunited with their families in a ceremony at Building 88312 on Custer Hill.
The Soldiers spent the last 15 months conducting convoy and re-supply operations from Kuwait into Iraq. The unit ran 83 missions totaling more than 860,000 miles while tran . . .
