WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- The U.S. Agency for International Development issued the following newsletter:
William H Janssen Jr., 75, died Dec. 20, 2007, in Sebastopol, Calif. Janssen joined USAID in 1967 as an agricultural economist working in Vietnam and Indonesia.
From 1974 to his retirement in 1988, Janssen was head of the Agency's agricultural division, working in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, India, and Egypt. As a contractor for USAID's Office of Foreign Disast . . .
