AYACUCHO, Peru, Aug. 11 -- The U.S. Air Force Reserve Command issued the following news release:

With only half their medical team and less than three days to see patients, Air Force reservists from Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, still managed to care for more than 2,000 Peruvians.
