MEDFORD, Ore., Aug. 18 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest - issued the following press release:
Lightning activity over the weekend has sparked at least 15 fires on the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. These fires range in size from less than 1/4 acre to an estimated 100 acres. Ten of the fires are located on the east side of the forest on the High Cascades Ranger District, three are located on the Wild Rive . . .
