ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Aug. 22 -- The Anchorage School District issued the following news release:
Today at College Gate Elementary, the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) announced that 94 schools in the Anchorage School District will receive Picturing America. Picturing America is a free initiative helping to teach American history and culture by bringing some of the country's great art directly to classrooms and libraries.
