VALDEZ, Alaska, Aug. 21 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard, 17th District, issued the following press release:
The Coast Guard in cooperation with federal, state, local and industry partners conducted an area maritime security drill in Valdez today. The purpose of the drill is to allow the agencies to interface and test their ability to respond to a security incident in Valdez.
