Iowa Gov. Reynolds Issues Disaster Proclamation for Four Counties Impacted by Recent Severe Weather
DES MOINES, Iowa, May 9 -- Gov. Kim Reynolds, R-Iowa, issued the following news release on May 8, 2024:
Today, Gov. Kim Reynolds issued a disaster proclamation for four counties in response to severe weather that occurred on May 6. The governor's proclamation activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and Disaster Case Advocacy Program for the following counties: Clarke, Marion, O'Brien, and Pottawattamie.
The Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program provides grants of up to $5,000
