DES MOINES, Iowa, May 9 -- Gov. Kim Reynolds, R-Iowa, issued the following news release on May 8, 2024: Today, Gov. Kim Reynolds issued a disaster proclamation for four counties in response to severe weather that occurred on May 6. The governor's proclamation activates the Iowa Individual Assistance Grant Program and Disaster Case Advocacy Program for the following counties: Clarke, Marion, O'Brien, and Pottawattamie.
