Ky. U.S. Attorney: Christian County Man Sentenced for Methamphetamine Trafficking
COVINGTON, Kentucky, April 27 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky issued the following news release on April 26, 2024: A Hopkinsville, Ky., man, Veontae Leemond Lewis, 32, was sentenced on Thursday, by U.S. District Judge David Bunning, to 138 months in prison, for possession with intent to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine. COVINGTON, Kentucky, April 27 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky issued the following news release on April 26, 2024: An Elsemere, Ky., woman, Nalisha Nichole Stewart, 38, was sentenced on Thursday, by U.S. District Judge David Bunning, to 126 months in prison, for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. According to her plea agreement, in May and June 2023, law enforcement coordinated two controlled purchases of methamphetamine from Stewart.   more
