CAMDEN, New Jersey, May 1 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey issued the following news release on April 30, 2024:

An Atlantic County, New Jersey, man was arrested today for fraudulent acts he committed in connection with COVID-19 relief funds, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.

Luquay Zahir, 49, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, is charged by complaint with one count of making false statements to influence the U.S. Small Business Adm . . .
