ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- 22nd Century, Clarence, New York, has been assigned a patent (9,732,350) developed by two co-inventors for "nucleic acid sequences encoding transcription factors regulating alkaloid biosynthesis and their use in modifying plant metabolism." The co-inventors are Jonathan Page, Saskatoon, Canada, and Andrea T. Todd, Saskatoon, Canada.
