WIPO: Inventors in California Develop Alkyl Amines

GENEVA, Nov. 29 - Stephen Gordon Will of Oakland, Calif., Veeraiah Bodepudi of San Romon, Calif., Ellen H. Fiss of Albany, Calif., and Rachel Shahinian of Alameda, Calif., have developed an alkyl aminesfor improving detection of formaldehyde-fixed biological samples components.

According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, in the invention an "alkyl amines act to release formaldehyde cross-linking that occurs in biological samples."
