PIERRE, South Dakota, Nov. 21 -- The South Dakota Democratic Party issued the following statement by Executive Director Sam Parkinson in response to Sen. John Thune, R-South Dakota, meeting with the Koch brothers-funded group Americans for Prosperity about the GOP tax bill yet refusing to hold any public town halls:
"It's disappointing, yet all too predictable, that Senator Thune apparently doesn't feel he has the time to hold a town hall in South Dakota about the GOP tax bill, . . .
