KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 16 -- Kansas City Public Schools issued the following news:
Kansas City Public Schools is going to use the darkening of the sun to enlighten young minds.
Kansas City residents will have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience a solar eclipse on Monday, Aug. 21. Schools across KCPS will be in session that day and will turn this historic scientific event into a unique learning opportunity.
