WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 -- District of Columbia Public Schools issued the following news release:

Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser, Deputy Mayor for Education Jennifer Niles, and District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Chancellor Antwan Wilson announced a multi-agency plan to reopen the historic Thaddeus Stevens School as an infant and toddler child development center and an expansion of School Without Walls at Francis-Stevens.
