MADISON, Wis., June 26 -- The Wisconsin Democratic Party issued the following statement Vice-Chair Felesia Martin:
"The Black Caucus of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin supports the calls for peace, requested by the family of Sylville Smith. After the disappointing verdict in the trial of former Milwaukee Police Officer Heaggan-Brown, Mr. Smith's sister, Sherelle Smith, said, it's time to "'Do something different in the community.'"
