WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 -- The office of Sen. John Boozman, R-Ark., issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator John Boozman, Senator-elect Tom Cotton and Rep. Tim Griffin sent a letter today to the Secretary of the Army urging him to award the Purple Heart to victims of the June 2009 shooting at the Little Rock recruiting center - Privates William Long and Quinton Ezeagwula - based on criteria approved by Congress in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
