WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 -- The House Homeland Security Committee issued the following news release:
Today, U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, released the following statement on yesterday's attack in Ottawa, Canada where a gunman shot and killed a soldier at Canada's National War Memorial, then entered the Parliament building:
"The attack in Ottawa is yet another reminder that homegrown terrorism is a real thre . . .
