WASHINGTON, Sept. 17 -- Rep. Bill Owens, D-N.Y. (21st CD), issued the following news release:
The House of Representatives today voted to support the President's plan to combat the terrorist group ISIS, including $500 million in funding for a program to train and arm vetted Syrian rebels. Congressman Bill Owens, who voted for the measure, responded with the following statement:
"ISIS represents a barbarous and dangerous threat to the United States and the world . . .
