WASHINGTON, Aug. 28 -- World Bank issued the following news release:
Mr. Takuya Kamata has been appointed the World Bank's Country Manager for Nepal.
Mr. Kamata, a Japanese national, joined the World Bank in 1990. He has since held various positions in infrastructure sectors, country and corporate units in the Bank's Africa Region, the East Asia and Pacific Region, and the Europe and Central Asia Region as well as in the Corporate Strategy Group.
