AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 21 -- The University of Texas System issued the following news release:
The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) recently announced that eight University of Texas institutions have been awarded $59 million in grants to help make advancements in the prevention and treatment of cancer. That's nearly 60 percent of all funds awarded across the state.
