NEW YORK, Feb. 28 -- The Wildlife Conservation Society issued the following news release:
WCS applauds the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) for its recent decision to add the Hudson Canyon--the East Coast's largest submarine canyon--to the inventory of sites now under consideration for National Marine Sanctuary status.
In late 2016, WCS's New York Aquarium submitted a nomination to NOAA to designate the Hudson Canyon as a National Marine Sanctu . . .
